Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete service requests promptly, while adhering to safety policies and helping maintain 24/7 on-call coverage as part of a dedicated maintenance team.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 1–3 years maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting skills, relevant regional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair) within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVA, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems. Including inspections and repairs.
• Ensuring the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
• Working a rotating on call schedule to have 24/7 maintenance coverage
