Job summary

Astec is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment. responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and ensuring safety and productivity.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent with a craft/apprenticeship, plus 4+ years of manufacturing experience and competence across hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems, including PLC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with PLC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and the plant/facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
