Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment in an industrial setting. You will lead advanced troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The role emphasizes reliability, downtime reduction, and technical guidance to contractors and junior technicians, with opportunities to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of job-related mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience as Maintenance Mechanic, Millwright, or similar role in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and procedures for safe completion of work.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, erects, moves and dismantles machinery and production equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance for buildings and grounds as needed.
• Maintains tools and equipment; handles cleanup, painting and housekeeping duties.
• Communicates information to off shifts and coordinates with contractors.
• Follows SOPs and maintains effective working relationships within the department and company.
• Responds to environmental management directions with EHS during emergencies.
• Identifies waste streams and ensures proper disposal as directed by EHS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
