Job summary

S C Swiderski LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support multi-family properties with preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance while delivering reliable service to residents and property managers.

Responsibilities include diagnosing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry issues, completing turnovers, and managing work orders. Mentoring Level I technicians and coordinating with vendors are required parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Vocational or trade school certificate, or equivalent education & experience, preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• OSHA 10 Certification required within 90 days.
• Ability to train and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate repairs and troubleshooting on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Complete vacant turnovers independently and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to complete specialized maintenance or warranty repairs.
• Mentor and train Level I technicians in proper repair techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
• Manage work orders from initiation through completion in the maintenance system.
• Perform snow removal, lawn care, and exterior maintenance as assigned.
• Support turnover planning, capital project preparation, and inspection readiness.
