Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Run tubing and piping, and perform general maintenance.

• Troubleshoot pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, mixers, and valves.
• Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, manuals, and drawings.
• Follow safety programs and LOTO procedures.

When you join Lummus, you are empowered to make an impact and be part of a dynamic team that celebrates creativity, encourages professional development, and fosters collaboration.From our technology portfolio to our global workforce, Lummus is growing at a rapid pace, and we hope that you will grow with us during this exciting time.Provide general maintenance support to the site facility in a safe and effective manner.**Key Responsibilities:*** Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes of recurring problems.* Running tubing and piping, and general maintenance (i.e. facility lighting, plumbing and grounds).* Replace or repair defective mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.* Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, mixers, valves, and associated systems.* Troubleshoot basic electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control circuits.* Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.* Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and other safety programs.* Maintain good housekeeping practices in maintenance shops and work areas.* Follow all facility procedures and safe work practices by fully participating in the facility’s safety programs (Lockout/Tagout, confined space, hot work, line break)* Grease and lube the machines, perform diagnostics, and maintain broken equipment.* Relocate power lines/supply to different buildings and decommission electrical panels.* Troubleshoot instrumentation problems, perform new installations, and calibrate/tune process equipment. **Desired/Preferred Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.* Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant environment.* Strong tubing and piping abilities.* Strong instrumentation, electrical and/or mechanical experience preferred.* Experience working in a safety-conscious work environment.* Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical equipment and systems.Lummus Technology is the global leader in developing technology solutions that make modern life possible and focus on a more sustainable, low carbon future.
