Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks a Maintenance Technician III to diagnose and repair complex building systems, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance across a busy apartment community. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance work, while ensuring safety and high resident satisfaction.

The role requires a valid driver's license, EPA/HVAC certification, CPO certification, and at least 3 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with HVAC certification.
• Experience in apartment maintenance and supervision preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA/HVAC certification required.
• CP0 certification valued; strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance and appliances in apartments and common areas.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians; participate in on-call rotations.
• Perform preventative maintenance per company procedures.
• Assist with pool maintenance and grounds upkeep; ensure safety compliance.
• Restore vacants to ready-for-move-in status; maintain cleanliness and order.
