Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician in engineering or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
• Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
• Certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand machinery operation and maintenance needs.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and maintenance techniques.
