Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility systems across office, R&D, and GMP manufacturing spaces. You will support automated fill, cap, and labeling lines, conveyor and product finishing equipment from setup through changeover, with emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong documentation, CMMS entry, preventive maintenance, and the ability to work nights/weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
• Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and related facility systems.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain facility mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including automated lines.
• Enter and close work orders in the CMMS and review completed tasks.
• Perform preventive and demand maintenance with proper documentation.
• Conduct routine building inspections and respond to outages.
• Assist in changes and projects to improve safety and reliability.
• Ensure contractor compliance with EHS policies.
