Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support all aspects of Maintenance and Facilities. This role emphasizes hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and strong problem-solving in a collaborative environment.

Candidate should demonstrate 10+ years in maintenance, proficiency with lifts and electrical systems, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Onsite work five days a week with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in general maintenance or facility maintenance.
Working knowledge of maintenance lift equipment, forklifts, and material handling equipment.
Respond to service requests with little or no supervision and direction.
Understanding of lockout / tagout procedures.
Knowledgeable of HVAC operation, maintenance, and system components.

Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools to perform carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other repairs and maintenance.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on facility and production equipment and systems.
Document maintenance activities and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
