Job summary

Corning is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support FDA-compliant manufacturing environments. You will perform routine PM, troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 VAC, work with Vision systems, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and Ladder Logic changes, and mentor junior technicians. Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience with equipment maintenance in an FDA compliant manufacturing environment.
• Specific work experience with Vision systems, electrical troubleshooting up to 480 VAC, and modifications to Ladder Logic/PLC programs.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash certification is required.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and related control systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates maintenance resources with Supervisors, Team Leads, and Manufacturing Leads.
• Performs routine changeovers including lot, end-of-arm tooling, and mold changes.
• Startup/shutdown procedures on equipment and verification of status.
• Assist operations with line issues, resets, and restarts.
• Complete preventive maintenance at defined intervals and adjust scope as needed.
• Train and mentor other associates in maintenance and operations.
