Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining plant buildings, machinery, and equipment to ensure reliable production.

You will follow safety rules, perform mechanical and electrical work, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. A High School Diploma and 5 years of related experience are required for a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years related work experience in a Maintenance Mechanic function or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatus
• Installs and repairs various electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems
• Performs visual and mechanical inspections to maintain machinery in good condition and ensure production to order specifications
• Follows the preventive maintenance program and conducts equipment inspections
• Provides on-the-job direction to new maintenance mechanics and others assisting in maintenance work
