Job summary

Jefferson Health in East Norriton, PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for installation, repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment and building systems, including safety, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems.

You will dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment, perform inspections, keep records, and support emergency repairs; strong knowledge of electrical safety and lockout/tagout is required; HS diploma and journeyman maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
• Understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment and machinery; inspect and maintain safety-critical systems.
• Maintain records of inspections and maintenance; support emergency repairs as needed.
• Handle maintenance calls and assist senior technicians with complex repairs.
