Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical vocational training or trades experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and automated controls.
• Valid PA Driver’s License; not required for Laundry positions.
• Minimum 3 years electrical and 2 years mechanical/plumbing experience.
• Preferred 4+ years electrical, 3+ years mechanical/plumbing, and 2+ years welding/cutting/fabrication.
• Formal technical training and journeyman experience.
• Ability to attend multiple tasks simultaneously and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and components.
• Repair conveyor and tube systems.
• Maintain call signal systems by replacing bulbs, fuses, switches.
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution and lighting.
• Repair medical air and vacuum systems.
• Service pumps, motors and valves.
• Order repair materials and maintain safety procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
