Job summary

This safety-sensitive role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL (within 120 days), strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will work outdoors in varied weather, follow safety rules, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL within 120 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand labor for asphalt, concrete or other material as needed.
• Operate concrete saws to make necessary cuts to continue workflow.
• Operate loaders, tree trimmers and other construction equipment as needed.
• Maintain assigned equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Perform traffic control, directing and flagging vehicles.
• Mow, weed eat, trim and prune rights of way as assigned.
• Learn to set grade, form and finish concrete for sidewalks, curbs, and streets.
• Perform snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Install pipe as assigned.
• Operate other tools: chainsaw, chipper and street saw.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
