Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to maintain high-speed bottle production equipment.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment performance, share knowledge with the maintenance team, and champion best practices aligned with Niagara's strategies. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with packaging machinery, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• 6 Years – Experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• 6 Years – Experience in Position.
• 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects.
• Ability to communicate across multiple departments and read schematics (electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic).
• Experience with shop equipment and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and GMP standards plant-wide.
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures.
• Lead projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades, and problem resolution.
• Identify machine problems quickly to minimize downtime and perform root cause analysis.
• Create SOPs and ensure machine reliability and uptime.
• Oversee region-specific equipment areas (blow molding, filling/capping, labeling, packaging).
