Job summary

Skechers USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will handle electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with emphasis on high-speed sortation and ASRS. The role requires independent problem-solving, strict safety adherence, and ability to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems and HMI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to Input/Output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including motor starters, relays, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, barcode readers, and dimensions.
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems including compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders, and related components.
• Perform fabrication using cutting, drilling, and welding with hot work safety standards.
• Maintain and repair conveyor and sortation systems; navigate WCS and HMI for diagnostics.
• Work with electrical systems from 12V to 600VAC following NFPA 70E standards.
