The Senior Maintenance Technician position works under limited supervision to conduct major repairs to production and support equipment, HVAC equipment, boiler systems, fire protection systems, and building management systems. In addition, has first level knowledge of building electrical and water infrastructure.
Compensation: Non-exempt, competitive hourly pay based on experience. Shift Differential, OT, and Performance Bonus eligible.

Location: Suwanee, GA - 1st Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and competently performs troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a variety of manufacturing equipment, in both inside and outdoor applications in a continuous operational environment.
- Analyzes and interprets one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, sketches, and drawings to select a logical approach to troubleshooting, tracing, and testing circuits to determine repair or replacement of electrical components.
- Inspect, repair, install, and wire all electrical devices and circuits, up to and including 480VAC.
- Maintains heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems through the diagnosis, repair, and replacement of fan motors, burners, and thermostats.
- Maintains water quality by conducting routine checks and performs water analysis as required of all water sources.
- In coordination with outside contractors, monitors the wastewater operations and troubleshoots issues to ensure efficiency of operations.
- Performs electrical troubleshooting and modifies existing electrical circuits as required. Working knowledge of test equipment and procedures.
- Manages the building management systems and fire protection systems, pumps, and alarm panels.
- Assists in training new maintenance technicians as required.
- Assists Maintenance Technician in other specialized areas as required.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe and clean work area.

Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Trade school or apprenticeship program certification, certified electrical knowledge, and training highly preferred.
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years previous experience in industrial machinery, electrical, building management, and facility systems.
Competencies:
- Ability to troubleshoot up to the PLC, replace with a new unit, load program, and confirm proper operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Takes ownership in maintaining our spare parts inventory and works with our TPM Coordinator to build our database/BOMS.
- Computer skills required, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Word.
Physical Effort and Work Environment:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and reaching.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and maneuvering up to 100 pounds with a dolly.
- Frequently exposed to oil and noise.
- Exposure to heat or cold due to seasonal changes.
