Job Description
The Senior Maintenance Technician position works under limited supervision to conduct major repairs to production and support equipment, HVAC equipment, boiler systems, fire protection systems, and building management systems. Additionally, the technician has first-level knowledge of building electrical and water infrastructure.
Compensation
Non-exempt, competitive hourly pay based on experience. Shift Differential, OT, and Performance Bonus are eligible.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely performs troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on manufacturing equipment, both indoors and outdoors, in a continuous operational environment.
- Analyzes and interprets diagrams and drawings to troubleshoot and test circuits for electrical repairs.
- Inspects, repairs, installs, and wires electrical devices and circuits up to 480VAC.
- Maintains HVAC systems through diagnosis, repair, and replacement of components.
- Checks and analyzes water quality and sources as required.
- Coordinates with contractors to monitor and troubleshoot wastewater operations.
- Performs electrical troubleshooting and circuit modifications, using test equipment.
- Manages building management and fire protection systems, pumps, and alarm panels.
- Assists in training new maintenance technicians and supports other specialized areas as needed.
- Adheres to safety policies and maintains a safe, clean work environment.

Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Trade school or apprenticeship certification, with electrical training, highly preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial machinery, electrical, and facility systems.
Competencies
- Ability to troubleshoot up to PLC level, replace units, load programs, and verify operation.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical diagrams.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Organized, able to prioritize and multitask.
- Good communication skills.
- Ownership of spare parts inventory and collaboration with TPM Coordinator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Physical Effort and Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and reaching.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds; maneuvering up to 100 pounds with a dolly.
- Exposure to oil, noise, and seasonal temperature variations.
