Job Description

Description of Position:

Maintenance Technicians collaborate with the maintenance team to perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) on all process and manufacturing equipment. They also assist in repairing existing machinery and equipment. The role offers comprehensive exposure to an industrial manufacturing environment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems, and process applications. Technicians will receive training on corrugated processing equipment such as rotary die-cutting, Flexographic printing systems, folding and gluing machines, banding and baling machines, and product conveying systems. This is a long-term position with opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities. The Technician will work alongside the Maintenance Engineer on continuous improvement initiatives and provide immediate maintenance support as needed.

Multiple Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday-Thursday
• Weekend Shift: 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday-Sunday

Pay Range: $30+ per hour (depending on experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad and evolving set of responsibilities related to maintenance.
• Engage physically in maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Clean and maintain machines and assets regularly.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects for the production facility.
• Use the PM program for repairs and maintenance.
• Minimize unplanned downtime by maintaining well-kept, PMed machines.
• Collaborate with management on quality and efficiency improvements.
• Complete documentation within the Food Safety Program as required.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to perform physical repairs and cleaning using appropriate tools and agents.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Understanding of industrial machinery and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

Education:

• Technical/Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or Mechatronics preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands:
