This role involves performing technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for service delivery on customer equipment.

This position is suited for an ambitious professional seeking career advancement. As a Customer Service Engineer III, your responsibilities include:

  • Servicing MI, PET, and CT Imaging Equipment in Kansas City, MO, based on prior experience.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs, providing operator training to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense, and inventory management targets.
  • Managing tool and test equipment expiration dates, ensuring no overdue calibration, and documenting usage on eFSR.
  • Managing company assets including a vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with customers and peers, and performing administrative duties accurately.
  • Providing mentorship to other Customer Service Engineers on all competencies and responsibilities.

This role may suit you if you:

  • Have experience in servicing, preventive maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Can establish and maintain proper business relationships and perform administrative duties accurately.
  • Have experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Possess strong customer service and communication skills.

Required skills include:

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools and service test equipment, capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website).
  • Ability to read and understand installation, troubleshooting, schematics, and functional documents.
  • 7+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive independently, with a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stools, and perform various physical tasks required for the role.

Must demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and resource management, with strong competency in instrument systems technology including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software.
