Cape Henry Collegiate’s Operations Department is seeking a dependable and skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to support the school’s mission and daily operations. This position provides hands-on, experienced support to the school’s facilities team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining campus buildings and equipment, with a particular emphasis on electrical and plumbing systems.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm -9:30pm. This is a Full-Time, 12-month position.
Occasional overtime or adjusted hours may be required for major school events, campus emergencies, or scheduled maintenance. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.
Pay Range: $23-$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Position Duties (including, but are not limited to):
We seek an experienced, dependable, and accountable professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate works efficiently and independently, demonstrates sound technical judgment, and takes initiative in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues, particularly those involving electrical and plumbing systems. They communicate courteously and professionally, use established processes - including the electronic work order system - and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. This position reports to the Facilities and Grounds Manager and is an integral part of the Operations team.
