Cape Henry Collegiate School, Inc. is seeking a dependable Senior Maintenance Technician to support our Operations Department. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining campus buildings and equipment, with emphasis on electrical and plumbing systems.

The position is full-time, 12-month, Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:30pm, with occasional overtime for events or emergencies. Benefits include PTO and comprehensive coverage; pay ranges from $23 to $28 per hour, depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least three years building-maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems safely.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions, with potential licensing considerations.
• Experience with electronic work-order systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems with emphasis on electrical and plumbing.
• Prioritize work orders based on safety and campus needs.
• Set up and break down event spaces and move furniture.
• Maintain orderly work areas and adhere to safety codes.
• Report safety or building-system concerns to supervisor.
• Support campus events and preventive maintenance.
