A Day in the Life
As a Highwoods Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a team that strives to provide best-in-class service to customers in our full-service commercial office buildings in the Tampa Market. We're seeking someone passionate about providing exceptional service and fostering a sense of community for our diverse customer base within the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred education from:
At least 5 years of experience/education in commercial building systems maintenance, including:
Availability for emergency calls during nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call basis. Fundamental knowledge of building codes required.
Physical environment may include exposure to fumes, mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, and loud noise. Must be comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and handle objects. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good visual acuity for various tasks. Clear communication skills required.
