A Day in the Life
As a Highwoods Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a team that strives to provide best-in-class service to customers in our full-service commercial office buildings in the Tampa Market. We're seeking someone passionate about providing exceptional service and fostering a sense of community for our diverse customer base within the portfolio.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred education includes:
A minimum of 5 years' experience/education in commercial building systems maintenance, with documented training/certification/license in fields such as:
Availability for emergency calls during nights, weekends, and holidays on an alternating schedule (on-call). Fundamental knowledge of local building codes is required.
Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, vibration, and outdoor conditions (cold/hot weather, wind, precipitation). The noise level can be loud. Comfort working on roofs and climbing ladders is necessary.
Must be capable of talking, hearing, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and handling objects. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform visual tasks such as reading and perceiving colors is required. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
