Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling equipment. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication systems, and repair faults on conveyors and sorters.

Under minimal supervision, you will interpret schematics, read manuals and engineering specs, use Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to log data, and promote a safe work environment through

Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical, and PLC/controls.
• Experience in welding/fabrication skills.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering specifications.
• Proven safety compliance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls faults.
• Interpret schematics and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in trainings.
