Job summary

SC Johnson's Lifestyle Brands division in Chicago is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and improve equipment and processes across the site. You will contribute to safety, TPM/LEAN initiatives and drive operator-driven maintenance with hands-on coaching.

The role requires 5+ years in a manufacturing setting, knowledge of OSHA and environmental requirements, and hands-on experience with troubleshooting, design changes, and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of LEAN, TPM and predictive maintenance processes.
• Understanding of PLC ladder logic and troubleshooting programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, design changes and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Lead training and coaching for operator-driven maintenance program.
• Maintain safety as a priority and conduct risk assessments.
• Support TPM/LEAN initiatives with data-driven improvements.
