Job summary

SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our 2nd shift in Chicago. You will maintain and improve equipment and processes across the building, driving a safe, reliable operation.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, hands-on skills with pumps, HVAC, fillers, and packaging equipment, plus experience with LEAN, TPM and PLC ladder logic. Join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance technician experience in consumer packaged goods
Experience in manufacturing environment with OSHA and environmental regulations
Knowledge of LEAN, TPM and predictive maintenance
Understanding of PLC ladder logic and troubleshooting programs

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repair, design changes, preventive and predictive maintenance schedule development and equipment monitoring
Lead operator driven maintenance program training, coaching and leadership
Maintain a strong focus on safety and complete risk assessments for work processes
Support TPM and LEAN initiatives through data analysis and improvement recommendations
Maintain and repair equipment including pumps, HVAC, liquid fillers, pneumatic systems, label machines, packaging equipment
