Job summary

SC Johnson’s Lifestyle Brands division in Chicago is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and improve equipment and processes across the site. You will work with a safety‑minded team and provide training and guidance to colleagues.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance while supporting operator‑driven maintenance and LEAN initiatives. It offers a 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM) with a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, design changes, and preventive/predictive maintenance scheduling.
• Lead and train operators to support the operator driven maintenance program.
• Uphold safety as a priority and perform risk assessments of work processes.
• Support TPM and LEAN initiatives through data analysis and improvements.
