Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Los Angeles to service apartment communities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and assist with preventative maintenance across properties.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, inventory control, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, a valid driver’s license where applicable, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• High school diploma or GED.
• HVAC certification and state licenses may be required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Track materials and restock as needed; maintain inventory.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety policies.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and compliance.
