Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Eighty-Four, PA facility. The role requires proficiency in lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs, with a focus on maximizing uptime in a continuous process environment.

You will support maintenance and operations teams, perform preventative maintenance, and handle paperwork and housekeeping. Shift flexibility and safety are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatic, electrical and electronic technologies.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in maintenance in corrugated industry or similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read factory masters, tapes, and basic measurements.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits at all times.
• Utilize mechanical skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, and lubrication.
• Maintain PLCs, A/C, motors and drives, and schematics to maximize machine uptime.
• Troubleshoot with maintenance and operations teams.
• Engage in preventative maintenance in assigned areas.
• Complete paperwork accurately and follow company guidelines.
• Willing to cross-train in other technical areas.
