Job summary

Carter's Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Stockbridge Distribution Center. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment, and lead safety-conscious maintenance tasks daily.

Required hands-on experience with conveyors, electrical systems, welding and motor controls. Strong teamwork, good communication, and ability to lift heavy loads are essential for this role at Carter's facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with conveyors and material handling equipment required.
• Hands-on welding (MIG/STICK) and electrical installation knowledge.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot 24 VDC/120 VAC, 460V 3-phase devices; pass safety certs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and equipment.
• Lead task planning, safety compliance, and housekeeping on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot motor controls and PLC I/O; communicate with peers and management.
• Support maintenance planning and distribution center operations as needed.
