Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the Stockbridge Distribution Center on the weekend shift.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment, troubleshoot motor controls, PLC inputs/outputs, and ensure safety compliance throughout the facility. Lead maintenance tasks, communicate with management, and provide guidance to peers while maintaining housekeeping and C-TPAT compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with conveyors and 24 VDC/120 VAC control devices.
• Mig welding and stick welding with 460 volt 3 phase hands-on experience.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds, scan with RF equipment, and work up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• 75%: Daily operations — perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and other material handling equipment; troubleshoot issues and lead task planning.
• 25%: Support functions — assist with planning and coordinating maintenance and repair of equipment; support supervisor in all duties.
