Job summary

Aviagen in Pikeville, TN, is seeking highly experienced Maintenance III team members to manage all aspects of the maintenance function, ensuring safe conditions and regulatory compliance. The role requires advanced skills across carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, plus preventive maintenance and collaboration with management to keep our facilities safe and efficient.

Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in related trades and must own a basic set of tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, flooring, masonry, electrical, welding, roofing, machinery, mechanics, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC).
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.
• Must be strong understanding of Lawn Mowers, Tractors, Backhoes, Skid Steers and Loaders
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow task specific instruction, such as Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
• Must have own tools including a basic sets of socket, wrenches, skill saw, grinder, drill, Sawzall, volt meter, level, and tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the maintenance function to ensure safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform advanced mechanical repairs including plumbing, lighting, heating, and farm equipment maintenance.
• Repair and maintain facilities, buildings, structures, and grounds; perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with management to create and maintain a safe work environment.
