Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Maintenance II to keep our facilities running efficiently, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance on buildings, systems, and grounds. The role involves plumbing, electrical, mechanical tasks, and operating safety protocols to ensure continuous operations across our site in Quitman, GA.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with carpentry, electrical work, and HVAC, plus the ability to read and follow detailed task instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.
• Must read, understand, and follow task instructions such as Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs at buildings including plumbing, lighting, HVAC.
• Check, install, and repair equipment such as feed systems, ventilations, generators, wells, and septic systems.
• Grease equipment and ensure proper operation; use ladders and PPE as required.
