Job summary

Aviagen is hiring experienced Maintenance III team members to oversee all aspects of the maintenance function, ensuring safe working conditions and regulatory compliance. The role involves extensive hands-on repair work across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and machinery within agricultural facilities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, working with feed and water systems, generators, and security/communication wiring.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Preferably in an agriculture-based setting.
• Ability to read and follow task-specific instructions and safety procedures.
• Own basic tools including socket set, wrenches, saws, and meters.
• Team player with strong communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical repairs on buildings, including plumbing, lighting and HVAC.
• Repair and maintain equipment such as feed systems, ventilation, generators, wells and septic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine building upkeep.
• Repair wooden structures, electrical fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.
• Maintain inventory and stockroom, and assist with safety training.
