Job summary

Aviagen in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Maintenance III to manage the maintenance function, ensuring safe working conditions and regulatory compliance. You will partner with management to create and maintain a safe work environment.

The role requires at least 7 years in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, preferably in agriculture. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair diverse systems, and operate power tools with safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, preferably in an agriculture-based setting.
• Proficient use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Strong reading of task-specific instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the maintenance function to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings, structures and grounds.
• Repair a wide range of systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Operate and repair farm equipment and related systems.
• Assist in safety training and daily safety checks.
