Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. in Randleman, NC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician on second shift to lead maintenance for production equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve systems, acting as a technical mentor and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, CMMS documentation, and leadership of junior staff while coordinating with vendors and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Advanced hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480 VAC and read schematics.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and CMMS documentation.
• Lead by example, coach juniors, and promote safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource and working lead for maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, modify, and maintain a range of systems and equipment.
• Lead complex repairs from diagnosis to completion with proper documentation.
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance using the CMMS with clear notes.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians in troubleshooting and safe practices.
• Coordinate vendor work and ensure safety and site requirements.
