Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Randleman, NC to lead maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure. You will diagnose, repair, and improve systems, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safe, reliable operation.

Responsibilities include leading complex repairs, performing preventive maintenance via CMMS, coordinating with vendors, and enforcing LOTO and EHS practices while driving continuous improvement in uptime and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Advanced hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480 VAC.
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and CMMS.
Ability to lead, coach, and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance activities for production equipment, facility infrastructure, utilities, automation, and building systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC/control, HVAC, BMS, CNC, and automated systems.
Lead complex repairs from diagnosis through completion with proper planning and safety.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS with complete notes and actions.
Coach and mentor junior technicians in troubleshooting and safe practices.
Coordinate with vendors and supervise repairs to meet site requirements.
Ensure LOTO, PPE, EHS, and safe work practices are followed.
