Job summary

Littfin Lumber Company in Howard Lake, MN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift to repair and maintain production machinery and support building systems.

You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate with plant operations to prioritize needs and report on equipment performance. The role requires an associate degree, 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and welding skills; on-site, full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field (Mechanics preferred) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and metal fabrication skills preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and production equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and record usage.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and advise on replacements when wear is excessive.
• Ensure safety procedures around machinery.
• Assist in installing new equipment and removing old equipment.
• Use databases/UI and industrial control software.
• Maintain building systems and report maintenance needs.
• Keep traffic areas clear of snow and debris.
• Collaborate with operations and provide management reports.
