MGK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and production operations on 1st shift in Chaska, MN. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility and process equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing.

Responsibilities include maintaining process equipment, utilities, and building systems; coordinating with outside contractors; using the CMMS to log tasks; and supporting lean improvements.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repair and production equipment.
• Willing to become forklift certified within one year.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills; safety-focused.

Mansioni

• Repair and maintenance of process equipment and utilities, building and exterior gear.
• Support proper running of utilities (ammonia, steam, water, oil, compressed gas).
• Secure building and grounds; maintain safe working environment.
• Air quality testing, spare parts ordering, tool/inventory management.
• Assist in managing outside contractors and CMMS procedures.
• Assist with installation and qualification of equipment and processes.
• Support operational efficiencies and lean/continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering on equipment operations.
• Complete other tasks as requested by management.
• Prepare and prioritize maintenance tasks using CMMS.
