Job summary

Littfin Truss in Howard Lake, MN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain and repair production equipment and building systems. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills, with welding/metal fabrication experience preferred.

You will follow preventive maintenance plans and document results in the CMMS. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a technical field and at least five years of manufacturing maintenance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Description

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, tools and production machines and equipment.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed on all pieces of equipment. Recording work results and parts usage in computerized maintenance management system.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and replaces defective parts; may recommend equipment replacement if determines sufficient wear may cause safety or reliability problems.
• Observes and ensures all safety procedures while working around machinery and equipment.
• Provide support for the installation of new manufacturing and office equipment or the removal of old equipment.
• Utilize database user interface, query and industrial control software.
• Complete tasks relating to the maintenance and service of all building systems.
• Collaborate with plant operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and provide necessary reporting on equipment and building systems maintenance to management.
• Maintain all traffic areas from snow and any other debris.
• Be an active participant on work teams.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in technical field (Mechanics preferred) or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems skills required. Welding and metal fabrication skills preferred.
• Must be self-directed, ability to multi-task, effective problem solving, troubleshooting skills, and excellent verbal and written communication required.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm-1am. Overtime as required Monday - Thursday: 1:00am-3:00am

Salary Range: $33.00/hour - $37.00/hour
