Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to support upkeep and functionality of residential properties. The role requires leading the maintenance team, coordinating unit turnovers, and ensuring safety and quality standards across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in residential apartment maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, and holds EPA Universal Certification and CPO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal Certification and CPO Certification.
• 10+ years of residential apartment maintenance experience, 5+ in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and schedule work orders.
• Supervise and train maintenance team to meet quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate unit turnovers and ensure inspections pass.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and vendor management.
• Manage inventory and help control maintenance budgets.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and residents' requests.
