Avanath, a leading property management company, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our Portland, ME community. You will lead maintenance staff, oversee vendors, ensure timely service, curb appeal, and high resident satisfaction.

You will coordinate work orders, conduct preventive maintenance, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while providing professional, on-site leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry work.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident requests and manage work orders with urgency.
• Inspect grounds and common areas daily for safety and upkeep.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance staff and vendors.
• Lead maintenance team and ensure OSHA safety compliance.
• Maintain records of service requests and inspections.
