Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Chemical Production) to lead the maintenance department at a large manufacturing facility in Columbus, GA. You will manage preventative maintenance programs, coordinate projects, and ensure safety and reliability of process equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with ISO, Lean concepts, and strong skills in Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 4 years of additional related experience in lieu of a 4-year degree is acceptable.
• Familiarity with plant safety practices, chemical processes, equipment maintenance, and ISO procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel, SAP and Word for daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance department for a large chemical facility.
• Coordinate and direct maintenance projects with detailed plans.
• Support HS&E, Quality and Productivity/Cost sections of the facility plan.
• Plan and direct installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Support capital project reviews with costs, schedule, and procedures.
• Direct, review, and approve product design changes per MOC.
• Analyze annual utility expenditures and optimize efficiency.
• Prepare reports, approve expenditures, and purchase materials/services.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement preventative measures.
• Recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
• Onboard new employees and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Coach staff using CS&W philosophy and tools.
• Ensure compliance with Tremco policies and best practices.
