Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group, a part of RPM International, is seeking a Plant Manager for its Columbus, GA facility. The role leads daily production, driving safety, quality, service and cost targets and oversees lean manufacturing and ERP systems to deliver finished goods on schedule.

Candidates bring at least three years of plant leadership in a related operation and a Bachelor's degree; SAP/ERP experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable manufacturing operation.
Experience transferring or integrating manufacturing operations between facilities preferred.
SAP/ERP experience; Lean methodologies; ability to apply Excel/Word and SAP applications.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety of staff, visitors, equipment and facility under NA Manufacturing Safety Program.
Lead the manufacturing team using a structured lean system (MS-168) and Operational Excellence tools.
Interface with senior management to align manufacturing goals with strategy.
Manage site staff directly or indirectly and define organizational objectives and structure.
Oversee capital projects and budget, monitor variances and ensure targets are met.
