Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Maintenance Supervisor (Chemical Production) to lead the maintenance department at a large chemical facility. You will plan, direct, and elevate preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and safety compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, familiarity with Lean and ISO processes, and proficiency with SAP, Excel and related tools.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience in lieu of a 4-year degree acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with plant safety practices, chemical processes, equipment maintenance, statistics.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance department for a large chemical manufacturing facility.
• Plan and direct installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and chemical production equipment.
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Support capital project requirements with costs, schedule, and procedures.
• Direct, review, and approve product design and changes in line with MOC procedures.
• Analyze annual utility expenditures and develop plans to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement preventative measures with the maintenance crew.
• Onboard new employees; conduct annual performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
