Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) in Columbus, GA is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, service and cost objectives across the facility.

This role emphasizes data-driven decision making, budget planning, and cross-functional leadership; you will lead a 24x7 manufacturing team, implement continuous improvement, and collaborate with senior leadership to sustain on-time delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years' supervisory experience in a 24X7 start-up chemical industrial environment.
• Experience in budgeting, fiscal management, and strategic planning/execution.
• Experience in cost reduction, Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Extensive background in fabrication and/or chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems and Microsoft productivity tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and schedules to meet goals.
• Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement targets.
• Oversee manufacturing operations and infrastructure for the facility.
• Implement and monitor Lean tools like 5S, Kaizen, and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine lean transformation plans.
