Job summary

Coalition is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance department within Element Chemicals, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to policies. This role reports to the VP of Operations and focuses on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across production areas.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in maintenance with 5+ years in leadership, and a strong background in chemical manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

10+ years of maintenance experience.
5+ years of supervision/management experience.
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, or industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership and ability to influence across an organization.
Knowledge of industry standards: ASTM, API, NACE, ASME.

Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance team, ensuring safety compliance and efficient work practices.
Schedule overtime, coordinate callouts, approve vacations, and manage workload priorities.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and balance preventive vs reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain familiarity with safe handling, environmental regulations, and emergency response for all area materials.
Utilize CMMS to plan work orders, track parts, and document inventory and purchases.
Coordinate with Production Shift Supervisors on preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibrations.
Lead spare parts inventory management and ensure critical parts availability.
Other duties as assigned.
