McKinley Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a 580+ unit apartment community in Ypsilanti, MI. The role combines hands-on leadership with on-site maintenance operations, safety, budgeting, vendor coordination, and team development to ensure exceptional resident experiences.

This working supervisor position includes on-call responsibilities and snow removal, with a compensation range of $75,000–$85,000 annually plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multifamily residential apartment maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance supervisory experience.
• Experience leading maintenance operations for a large-scale apartment community (600+ units) or multiple communities with comparable total units.

Responsabilités

• Oversee on-site maintenance staff and vendors to maintain a 580+ unit multifamily community.
• Lead budgeting, safety compliance, preventative maintenance, and resident satisfaction initiatives.
• Provide after-hours and emergency on-call coverage.
• Inspect vacant and occupied units; prepare market-ready turnover.
• Manage inventory, tools, equipment, and vendor pricing.
