Hayman Company is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor in Ypsilanti, MI. You will lead maintenance teams, manage repairs, and ensure high standards of upkeep to support resident satisfaction and turnover goals.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience in the apartment industry, EPA certification, and the ability to manage contractors and budgets. A valid driver's license and your own tools are required; on-site work with on-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a supervisor role in the apartment industry.
• Owns the tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrates dedication to exceeding customer needs and building relationships.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization.
• EPA Certification required to perform maintenance tasks.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screening.
• Must have own general tools and a valid driver's license.
• Physically capable of performing maintenance duties; deadline- and detail-oriented.
• Proven leader and team player; proficient in electronic communication.
• Eligible for quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete work and repair orders promptly.
• Capital project management and expense monitoring.
• Keep the community clean and well maintained.
• Respond to a wide range of residential service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare apartment homes for rent and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors.
• Report unresolved issues to Management.
• Be available for on-call hours.
